Last-minute Christmas presents: what to get a friend who is obsessed with crypto (like we are)

Why struggle to find a perfect present for a friend from crypto when you can just give them crypto? And it may be a simple and elegant solution if you just present a gift card.

For example, gift cards are provided by Coinbase. The best thing is that you can buy it in a few clicks through the app and send it via email, even on Christmas day. The recipient can use it by number as a payment method on the exchange. There is no limit to how much money and in which crypto you want to send.

NFTs

Anything could be an NFT. That’s why you may give anything as an NFT gift. Imagine that you present not just a photo album of the happiest moments but an NFT photo album. Cool, isn’t it? 

If you are not ready to create an NFT yet, that’s okay too. You also can just open the NFT marketplace and choose something you like — an item from a prospective collection or a beautiful art object. Anything you like. A physical object like jewelry with the NFT proof of ownership is a great option as well.

Wallets

Traditional wallets can be a good present; why can’t they be crypto wallets? Experts claim that the perfect choice is a cold wallet or hardware wallet — something like a USB where you store your crypto assets. And though there are other options — apps and browser extensions — a small ‘USB’ indeed sounds like a better gift. Ledger is usually named among the best crypto wallets out there.

Books

By the same logic as wallets, you might consider books as gifts. There are no crypto books yet (or, rather, you can look for them if you choose NFTs), but there are a lot of books about crypto.

By the way, books are most often named as one of the best ways to learn, so the gift is perfect even for beginners.

Hand-made stuff

If you don’t want to bother with figuring out what is the best wallet or how to buy a crypto gift card on the exchange, you can just go to the dear old Etsy. It has a lot of options on the ‘crypto Christmas’ search query: from cards and socks to sweaters (of course!) and… lamps.
