After acquiring the CryptoPunks NFT project in March, Yuga Labs hired Noah Davis, Christie’s auction house key NFT specialist, to lead the project’s brand.

“I’m humbled and honored to announce I’ll be leaving my current post in July to steward the CryptoPunks as Brand Lead under the umbrella of Yuga Labs,” he tweeted.

Many people consider that Larva Labs, the original creator of the project particularly, has done very little to boost the project through partnerships or events.

In another thread, the co-founder of Yuga Lab said that the commercial rights to the CryptoPunks would be transferred to its owners in the coming weeks.

Davis assured that CryptoPunks would not follow the way of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).

On June 4, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection was hacked, losing upwards of 200 ETH (about $360,000) worth. According to data from blockchain security firm PeckShield, about 32 tokens were stolen.
