Last month Solana Labs also announced its first Web3 phone — Saga — with shipments in 2023. Initially, it is an ex-OV1 designed and manufactured by OSOM, a startup founded by former Essential employees. To pre-order, you need to connect your wallet and make a $100 USDC refundable deposit. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final purchase price of the device of $1k.

However, Saga turned out not to be very popular. There have only been about 2.5K pre-orders so far.
