We had a fascinating interview with CryptoShillz, a crypto enthusiast, trader, and analyst. He runs a Telegram channel with 4.2K subscribers and has a Twitter account with almost 55K followers. A significant number of people, even today, in my community come from a gaming background like myself. Crypto came to my radar, funnily enough, while playing games with friends and discussing various topics in the chats!
My first experience dates as far back as December 2017. I started to research the space and stumbled upon the token VEN (currently known as VET). The main reason behind the decision was that other projects that I was researching had already started to get traction. In hindsight, this was one of the best decisions I made right from the start, as it shaped a lot of my success further down the road.
When I first went into crypto, it mirrored a lot of what you could call a casino system. The industry has evolved so much over the course of a couple of years, and there is still so much room for improvement in the future. I think we are witnessing a revolution in how we perceive money and how we interact with it. Obviously, changing centuries-old habits will come with many obstacles, but it is my opinion that it is the responsibility of early adopters to show others why this is the future.

I made the wrong decisions, and I am still learning. That makes me a better investor on a daily basis. The best lesson I learned from my experience is to evolve my strategy with the market. The market will always humble you!

The beauty of missing a good investment in crypto is that there is another one waiting to hit. I believe the biggest mistake you can make in the market is beating yourself up on something and chasing green ‘candles’.
About crypto portfolio
I’m a Bitcoin believer, and I always prioritize it in my portfolio. Altcoins are what I use as a vessel to accumulate the King! Velo (VELO) and DSLA Protocol (DSLA) are the new additions to the portfolio.
Advice for crypto beginners
- Always do your research.
- Follow the people on Twitter who, in your opinion, are knowledgeable! Networking is the key to the game.
- Invest in education.
- Never invest more than you can afford to lose.
- Grow at your own pace and stay away from futures trading.
- Diversification is the key to risk management!
