Jan 19, 2023 at 03:38The creator of Cardano (ADA), Charles Hoskinson, lashed out at the popular YouTuber Ran Neuner of the ‘Crypto Banter.’ Charles says Neuner was not being truthful and shows favoritism towards other projects like Solana and Luna.
Via a tweet, Charles said Neuner was not reporting the truth about Cardano’s progress and promoting a report that was not accurate about how much work was being done on Cardano.

However, some people claim Cardano is “vaporware” – not really doing anything; all talk and no action.
These recent remarks sparked talks among the cryptocurrency community about problems with the honesty of Neuner’s reporting.
He issued Neuner a stern warning, saying that he would face prosecution in the US for financial crimes.

Cardano ranks among the top blockchain ecosystems and is known for having a lot of people working on it, as shown by the number of commits on Github.
Nonetheless, some point out that the Cardano project has few people working on it, even though it claims to have many core developers, which gives some credibility to the criticism.
I'm not sure what the original source is, but there are different ways of looking at it. Number of core protocol developers != number of developers building in the ecosystem. Cardano seems to be high in the former and low in the latter.
