Uniswap has a critical vulnerability

Dedaub’s team of security experts uncovered a critical vulnerability in Uniswap. The vulnerability allows user funds to be drained by re-entering the system. Uniswap fixed the problem and deployed Universal Router smart contracts on all its chains. 

Upbit exchange signed an agreement with Napoli SSC football club

Korean fintech company Dunamu has become the new sponsor of the Italian soccer club Napoli SSC. The logo of the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, owned by the company, will appear on players’ shirts in all friendly matches, Serie A, and Coppa Italia games.

14 years since the first cryptocurrency appeared

Today is the 14th anniversary of the Genesis block of Bitcoin. On January 3, 2009, Satoshi Nakamoto mined the first Bitcoin block (it is also sometimes called Block 0 or Block) on a small server in Helsinki, Finland, and received a reward of 50 bitcoins.

Three Arrows Capital (3AC) founder Su Zhu accused Digital Currency Group (DCG) and FTX of conspiring to attack LUNA and stETH (Lido Staked ETH). FTX is already bankrupt, and DCG could be next.

Bithumb chairman turned out to be innocent

Lee Jung-Hoon, former chairman of Bithumb Holdings, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb Korea, was acquitted of $100 million fraud charges on the grounds that the alleged crime cannot be proven, CoinDesk Korea reported.

Lee was indicted in July 2021. In October 2022, South Korean prosecutors asked the court to sentence him to eight years in prison. Lee was accused of stealing money from cosmetic surgeon Kim Byung-Gun while negotiating an acquisition deal.

In 2018, Lee suggested that Kim, who was chairman of BK Medical Group, take Bithumb under joint management. Lee was accused of misappropriating the acquisition deposit.
