The first green metaverse: an upcoming crypto project that brings blockchain closer to common people

Have you sometimes checked a new crypto project, being interested in it and then giving up because it seems too complex? This project is not going to be one of those cases. Co-founder of U-Topia Metaverse, Nicolas Prévost, says that the gap between crypto professionals and common people is too big, and their product will fix it in an entertaining way.

This is not the first blockchain project for Nicolas; he is also a founder of phygitalphysical plus digital service company Yeamob and Web3 business space WORKINMETA.

So, meet a new metaverse game (but not just a game, for sure) U-Topia Metaverse.

We explain crypto by showing how to work with it

This project started something like one and a half years ago. It was not complicated to find people to work with. I mean, this kind of business is very new and very trendy. So we assembled a group of marketers, developers, and designers and just got to work.

We believe in equality, so we always put our ideas together and then discuss whether we should proceed or not.

Right now, our project is still not available for users. We are going to release the full version around 2023, a website based on WebGL. We have a lot of work to do, and now we focus on the framework. Once we collect all things together, we will open beta access to get feedback from people.

U-Topia Metaverse is a kind of game like World of Warcraft. People can just log in and start playing: interact, be immersed, spend time in this other world, and stick with other people. But it is more than that, because we are building a tool to make a bridge between all the Metaverses. And we are building a solution to create Metaverses.

But we also want this game world to be integrated with reality. So common people could get new experiences and earn some money, and businesses could reach the audience there and provide their services.

We consider the knowledge gap between crypto professionals and common people a big problem, and we want our product to solve it. This is about making the use case easier.

Users could just come to this place and learn something about crypto by doing missions. For example, they can easily earn tokens and then trade them or convert them to the USD.

We’ve been thinking about educational purposes as well. Every process that will be accessible within the game will be explained. However, I can’t say that U-Topia is an educational platform because we explain by showing. And the user is not reading and learning but playing and absorbing.

100% ecological development is not possible, but we want to make the best we can

U-Topia Metaverse is the first green metaverse. We are still working on how that should be implemented, and we can’t create a 100% ecological product but trying to achieve it is very important to us. Our first small step is to use services with the same goal — services that consider sustainability in their development. Also, we focus on finding the best way to use green electricity.

Besides, we want to pay carbon tax: every time you buy a token, you invest in some green product.

I also would like to mention that ecology is not about marketing for us. We try to build a business model as green as possible because I think it concerns everyone. And it is our responsibility to find the best solution for that problem.

We are very ambitious. We are not building an NFT collection, we are not building a game, we are not building a token, we are not building e-commerce — we are building all of this, a real experience with all of these kinds of integration. It is a full crypto ecosystem in the gaming shell.

Metaverse is a completely logical evolution of the digital world

I am a marketer, and I don’t really care about crypto. But I do like the freedom bitcoin gives to the users. The system of payments is quick and safe at the same time. Besides, this industry is about connecting people mentally and technically, which I primarily focus on in my work.

I mean, right now, we are talking via Zoom and can see each other, and that’s wonderful, but if we met in the metaverse, we could’ve played football, for example 🙂

So yes, in the metaverse, people can play together and work together in new ways. And, as for our project, U-Topia Metaverse, well, I am not just a player myself, I am a gamer, and I know that is a kind of lifestyle. You spent 10,000 hours on your favorite games, and those who don’t play do not understand you. But with the metaverse, gamers will not be geeks anymore, will not be weirdos who hide in a fantasy world, because the metaverse still is very connected to the real world. And you can not only play here but express your creativity, express yourself, and earn from this process.

And talking about earnings, I hate speculations. And I believe we can create a metaverse as a transparent system. I believe the metaverse is a completely logical evolution of the digital world.

Bill Gates does not believe in crypto — this is because he is afraid of it

Blockchain can give many opportunities, and we have to make people believe that it is closer and easier than they think. Not by just telling them but by making them realize this is good. You know, like dollars. If no people use dollars, the dollar’s value will be zero. Without value, this is just paper. And if people believe in bitcoin, bitcoin will be the next dollar.

We need to make people trust it, and for this, we need to organize this system. And it is long-running because we want our own economy without full centralization.

So I think it’s about trust. And I think all these people like Bill Gates who tell this is bullshit are just scared of what’s going to happen.
