Super Protocol is pioneering the future of decentralized cloud computing and expanding the Web3 community, from blockchain developers and NFT artists to crypto hobbyists.

Once upon a time, the most valuable commodity was gold, and then the world struck oil, and it was crowned king. Well, the chapter has closed on the era of raw materials as we enter the dawn of the digital revolution. The 4th Industrial Revolution is upon us and brings a new king commodity, something more valuable than silver, gold, or crude oil.

That commodity is data!

Let’s grow together!

The world is becoming increasingly interconnected, and data is the thread that weaves us all together. This means that data, as the new most valuable commodity, needs to be stored by the terabyte on a network of remote servers known as the cloud. Think of it as the collection of independent storage houses that each hosts terabytes of information, easily accessible to other servers on the network. This is an essential part of the growing internet technology sector.

If our data is our most important thing, why should we allow corporations to own it?

This is where decentralized cloud computing enters the game!

What is Super Protocol, and why should you care?

Super Protocol is a confidential cloud computing platform that encrypts and protects data as it is processed. The more data is introduced into the network, the more servers are required to store the data. Even the best-equipped cloud computing companies have to face the reality of their inevitable storage cap. This is where Super Protocol shines as they find a way to infinitely scale the storage potential of any privately owned cloud network.

This is similar to Amazon’s AWS (Amazon Web Services), which rents out cloud computing space for data storage to increase the user’s processing power. Super Protocol manages to expand this feature indefinitely. This service enables more information from an individual or group of individuals to be stored on the cloud. This increases the processing information of the user and allows them to develop their own SaaS (Software as a Service).

Due to the sheer volume of data created and transferred in the digital economy, this service has never been more in demand. This is due to the number of industries that utilize online activity, namely, online gaming, video content creation, online communication, and electronic payment services.

The introduction of Web3 has only increased the domain of companies using data storage services. Soon, every company will be transferring and storing its data online. This highlights the critical problem in the cloud computing industry: more than three-quarters of the market is owned by four companies. This causes a highly centralized market. While many people take issue with significant corporations having a death grip on their private data, the genuine concern is what happens when those corporations use their control to architect the rules and governing policies. That’s when centralization indeed reveals its oppressive potential.

This is where Super Protocol uses blockchain technology and their signature TEE to solve that cloud computation’s primary problem.

Super Protocol’s primary advantage over its components is that it is a blockchain-based cloud computing platform that utilizes innumerable servers on a decentralized network. This has one undeniable advantage for its users. That benefit is that the Super Protocol has no single point of weakness and is thus more resilient than centralized cloud networks. This means that a single cyber-attack taking the network offline is highly unlikely.

Why does cloud computing need to be decentralized?

The current cloud computing arena is dominated by fewer companies than the fingers on a single hand. Four companies dominate approximately 70% of the market.

These are the top 4 cloud computing companies:

  1.   Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  2.   Microsoft Azure
  3.   Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  4.   Alibaba Cloud

The new world is run by those who control our data. The danger comes when most of our data is owned and profited from by a minuscule minority of multinational corporations with private interests and objectives. If we are forced to rely on centralized corporations to manage and control our data, we will also be forced to comply with the strict rules and regulations set out by these corporations. This was the case when technology giants like Meta or Google had complete control over the algorithms that govern how and when certain companies are ranked and which information is trafficked toward us.

Super Protocol Corporation is determined to dethrone these companies with their unique solution to cloud computing’s scalability and centralization issues. Its solution is the ultimate act of killing two birds with one stone.

Through decentralizing the cloud computing services, Super Protocol and other entities solve the following problems:

It protects the server from real data leaks by hacking a single company.

It prevents users from complying with restrictive policies that only serve a company’s profit margin instead of the community.

It keeps crypto traders active even when one platform is down.

It ensures the ongoing protection of the IoT.

Super Protocol is a confidential cloud computing platform that aims to protect data while it is processed. Its users will enjoy the benefits listed above. By decentralizing the network, the protocol cannot be censored or dictate rules or conditions to its users. An independent DAO will make every decision.

This is the future of computing as more online platforms use confidential computing. Predictions put the estimated growth of the decentralized cloud computing industry at 45% at the low end and 95% at the high end. Either way, the market is young and rapidly growing.

How does TEE technology solve the cloud problem?

Super Protocol’s proprietary Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) is a step in the right direction regarding decentralized cloud computing. TEE is a separate area of a device’s central processor network that stores and processes secure data from the primary system’s operating system. This enables the TEE network to protect the data created and stored from the Internet of Things (IoT). TEE allows for end-to-end security that includes an authenticated code, privacy, and system integrity and protects data access rights. This processing block runs parallel to the operating system and is intended to provide increased security compared to the traditional processing environment.

In a way, the TEE network is like the Web3 crypto hardware wallets that provide a secure access point to an area of the processor that is isolated from the vulnerabilities of the main network. Trusted applications with valid private keys can only access this processor area. The second line of defense is found in the incorruptible chain of hashes. Each application launch is logged on the processor with a hash. These hashes cannot be altered without altering the entire chain. In the case of a decentralized network, this feat is somewhat impossible. That’s a line of defense not even the unsullied could break through.

Super Protocol’s TEE offers encrypted storage that will not allow anyone to modify or remove an authorized application’s code in a way the developers did not intend. This ensures that only a single owner of a set of private keys can access the information in their block of data. Even if you manage to obtain the data of another, without that specific private key, you’d never be able to access the data encrypted in the particular application. This is essential, considering most Dapps deal with susceptible data, and for the DeFi industry and the rest of Web3, this data’s security is paramount.

This makes Super Protocol’s TEE-based cloud computing access strategy essential to the future of Web3.

What is the future of Super Protocol:

  •         Super Protocol’s partnership with Intel:

Super Protocol has gained many new partnerships in both Web3 and the traditional technology industry. They are doing this to ensure they can optimize their services to their expanding community, cloud providers (Cloud Sigma), developers who wish to monetize their projects, data providers, and storage providers (Stori and Filecoin).

Amongst these companies, Intel is their newest and most involved partner as the company enters its development phase.

While Super Protocol provides complete security on a software and cloud level through its use of TEE technology and a decentralized cloud computing server, Intel’s SGX technology secures data access on a hardware level. This means it is intended to provide an access breach even if someone manages to access the physical machine managing the main server. It limits the exact individuals with access to a particular server part through an attestation process that regularly complies with security checks. This proves that a user communicates with a specific piece of software and is hosted by a secure container on the trusted execution environment (TEE).

  •         Super Protocol’s Test net:

Super Protocol has officially launched its Test net and has invited all Web3 developers and crypto enthusiasts to join. This is an active community of developers and Web3 creators 10 000 members, strong and counting, have congregated to architect the future of Web3.

Anyone interested in being a part of the rich community and developing their Web3 projects should join with this link to the Test net:

The project incorporated Meta’s mantra of “move fast and break things.” They encourage developers and other creatives in the Web3 space to fail quickly and often on their journey to creating applications and technology that will improve the lives of millions worldwide.

Test nets serve these functions:

  1.   Allow novice and experienced developers to polish their Web3 projects and Dapps.
  2.   To imitate potential security threats to overcome them in the future.
  3.   To propose changes for the main network.
  4.   Mainly, it allows developers to try out their wildest ideas for the future of the Web3 space!

The role of Super Protocol is becoming evident in the architecting of Web3. Its technology and devotion to decentralizing cloud computing and double encrypted data access will be able to solve many of the problems inherent to the modern cloud computing industry. It will allow people involved in Web3 and businesses that rely on more traditional internet transactions. Nobody can operate in the new world without volunteering their data. Data security is the irrefutable top priority of any business or individual.

The surrounding network of Web3 Dapps and DAOs created through the Super Protocols Web3 community increased their problem-solving capabilities. That is what primes the potential Amazon of Web3 to shine. However, its team has assured us that Amazon 3.0 will continue to value the community that built Super Protocol and continues to support it.
