In early June 2022, the Pride Icons project was launched to celebrate Pride Month. It is the world’s largest LGBTQ+ NFT community and a collection of pop art images of famous people who support or are part of the community.

As we learned from a recent interview with one of the co-founders of the project, Amir Lazarovich, the team plans to develop the project. Including the release of their own cryptocurrency.

“The most important thing for us is to build a community. We have already had a few parties, and now we are thinking about developing our cryptocurrency”, — said Amir.

Recall that Pride Icons aims to support the LGBTQIA+ community. That’s why they sell NFTs as a club membership with benefits: for example, there is an opportunity to get a 30% discount on gender transitioning.
