Happy weekend! We all deserve a break. However, we should not forget to keep track of crypto market events. Even common rumors can greatly affect asset prices. So while you’re getting ready for the weekend, we’ve gathered briefly the most important news for November 25.

Another loss in DAO

The co-founder of Amber Group and KeeperDAO, Tiantian Kullander, has died. The official announcement says that he passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on November 23, 2022.

In October, one of the co-founders of MakerDAO, Nicholas Muhgian, passed away in Costa Rica. 

Surprise: it’s not just MetaMask!

As it turns out, MetaMask and Uniswap aren’t the only ones collecting user data. RPC providers such as Alchemy Moralis and QuickNode have also claimed to collect personal information such as IP addresses.

Binance releases Proof of Reserves

The largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, released Proof of Reserves (PoR) after recently announcing a commitment to transparency. The launch began with BTC, and other tokens and networks will be added in the next couple of weeks.

Major airlines American Air and Air Canada have partnered with FCF Pay. Now, FCF Pay debit cardholders can use more than 20 stablecoins and Shiba Inu to book flights.

The price of Algorand goes up

The FIFA+ collection and the new update continue to raise the price of Algorand. This platform claims to be the most efficient, environmentally friendly, and safe.

Algorand’s blockchain is up 15% a few days after the start of the World Cup thanks to an earlier deal with FIFA (plus NFT collection, FIFA + Collect). 

Algorand provided the sports giant with an official blockchain-enabled wallet solution. In exchange, the platform became a regional sponsor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the official sponsor of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
