Well, there weren’t many bright events in the crypto and Web3 world today (I don’t know if that’s good or bad anymore). Ah, no. There was one. SBF came out and pretended to be the unfortunate victim. Anyway, meet our traditional selection of brief, major news.

SBF’s first interview

Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (aka SBF), was interviewed at the Dealbook Summit. As you can perfectly see, he is still free and well. Even worse, many on Twitter are writing that they really feel sorry for SBF and see him as an innocent victim of circumstance, an overplayed philanthropist. Yeah…

SBF apparently believes this himself. Judging by what he has written recently.

Let’s grow together!

Do you want to get hooked?

Binance recently announced the launchpad of its 29th project, Hooked Protocol (HOOK).

Hooked Protocol is a Web3 social learning game platform designed with the token economy in mind so that users can have game-based learning experiences while reaping social benefits. Hooked Protocol has now completed an initial round of funding from leading venture capital funds such as Binance Labs, A&T Capital, and Sequoia Capital.

HGT (Hooked Gold Token) tokens earned from the game can be exchanged for uHGT through the exchange at the top of the wallet page, and uHGT tokens can be exchanged for BUSD using Swap.

HOOK is an ecosystem governance token that is used in a variety of functions.

Apes on the loose

All Seeing Seneca, the artist who created the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs for Yuga Labs, is launching a new project. Her latest work, titled “Portraiture by Seneca,” is currently for sale through the Phillips Auction House at an auction that runs through December 2.
Seneca’s work includes three digital animated works, minted as Ethereum NFT, as well as her first physical artwork to be auctioned, an acrylic and spray-paint composition called “Portrait of Invocation.” The current rate for this work is $50,000. This one is the most expensive.

Insurance, seriously?

A company that represents bitcoin mining machines and hosting, Compass Mining, has begun offering a product. It is designed to protect mining machines. In fact, it is insurance against various unforeseen events: from fire to theft of equipment. Read more here.

It’s funny that nuclear danger and war are among the items not covered by insurance. Hmm…

Playboy is suddenly revived

The Playboy brand has announced its return to The Sandbox metaverse for the launch of its first original NFT collection. The Playboy Party People Collection will consist of 1,969 Playboy-inspired NFTs.

Fans will be able to get Playboy NFTs starting Dec. 6. The NFTs themselves will become playable avatars in The Sandbox metaverse, and their owners will receive various bonuses.

At the same time, users on the allowed list can participate earlier if they have certain NFTs from The Sandbox collections.
