Crypto influencers: the ones to follow and the ones to avoid — our list

Reddit users listed the names of Influencers who should or should not be listened to when analyzing the cryptocurrency market or industry news. This is very important because their opinion, vision, and how much of their expertise can affect the sphere as a whole and its participants. The last ones, at least, can suffer from disinformation or follow bad advice. In the world of cryptocurrency, such mistakes can be deadly.

The essence of the problem is that in the industry, it is tough to distinguish reliable sources from persons who do everything possible to trick market participants and obtain their money in some way. Often, such “expert’s” victims are newcomers to the field, who seek information because they “need to do their own research.” According to Reddit user Beyonderr, the right solution would be to regulate the market correctly, but until that happens, experienced players should help newbies not become victims of info-fraudsters.

Crypto influencers worth following

According to Reddit users, let’s start with those whose assessments can be trusted. We’ve added links to their Twitter for convenience, but many of these key market figures also have YouTube accounts.

Big crypto influencers that are best avoided or even blocked

While some experts are worth listening to, others are better avoided. According to Beyonderr, many are paid to convince subscribers to buy a “shitty project,” — such as a combined token dump on subscribers during a follow-up dump. Others entice newer players to lose much money on leverage trading. Some hype up more recent projects (“the next 100x!”) that always rug for engagement. Some indefinitely bull or bear posts to get attention; they often set unreasonable targets like Shib to $1. In general, they are just out to either make money directly (e.g., you buy their bags) or indirectly (e.g., they grow their account so they can make more money later). Here are just a few of them:

Most of the “experts” on Beyonderr’s list came from an investigation by ZachXBT, which exposes such scammers. Do not let anyone affect your financial decisions, even those on the “white” list. When analyzing, it’s all about cold-blooded calculation. Rely only on yourself, and the chance of losing money will be minimized.

And who would you add to the list of “good” and “bad” crypto-influencers? Write about it in the comments.
