A Reddit user collected and curated the top 50 anti-NFT comments on the Internet, edited them, and sold them all as NFTs. The case is outstanding, but as we know, anything is possible in the non-fungible token world.
The result of the author’s collection is Worthless JPEGs. It consists of 50 quotes from Redditors and ten from famous people such as Warren Buffet, Peter Schiff, Dan Olson, etc.
It’s worth mentioning that all images are CC0
That’s why, according to the author’s opinion, his collection is unique:
The brand new newsletter with insights, market analysis and daily opportunities.
Let’s grow together!
The collection is ready and traded by 0.003 ETH (~$4.9). You can buy from it here.
The author has already sold two NFTs from the collection. At the time of writing he has earned 0.103 ETH (~$191).
By the way, as this is a comedic project, the author decided that every Worthless JPEGs holder will be airdropped a new NFT that makes highly dismissive and bitchy comments in response to the original quote when/if ETH reaches $5k.
This is undoubtedly one of the strangest NFT collections, isn’t it? Earlier, we reported a story about an Indonesian student who sold his selfies as NFTs and earned $1 million.
